Advanced Chassis Design

The XRAY XT2D'28 features an all-updated 2.5mm Swiss 7075 T6 aluminum chassis with optimized flex and a widened rear section for improved traction, stability, and control on dirt tracks. The updated Flat Chassis Brace and longer side braces provide tunable flex characteristics, helping racers maintain consistent handling across changing dirt, clay, and bumpy astro conditions.

Enhanced Dirt Traction

The updated 3G gearbox integrates with the lower Flat Chassis Brace to deliver a balanced combination of steering and stability. Lighter differential outdrives reduce rotational mass for faster acceleration and sharper braking, while the Dirt Edition's redesigned low-profile ball differential provides smoother differential action, improved traction, and easier maintenance on loose or bumpy surfaces.

Refined Suspension Performance

Updated front and rear carbon shock towers feature lower mounting geometry to improve stability and cornering precision. Shorter shock bodies and shafts reduce mass and lower the center of gravity, while revised spring collars and +2mm shock ball joints expand ride height and droop adjustments. Medium-hardness suspension arms and updated XB2-compatible springs deliver responsive handling and reliable durability.

Stronger Drivetrain Components

The updated aluminum rear roll center holder adds a third roll center position for greater suspension tuning flexibility. Heavy-duty 3.5mm turnbuckles, 5.4mm ball ends, and composite ball joints improve strength and reduce binding for smoother suspension movement. The externally adjustable ball differential features HUDY Spring Steel™ construction, hardened components, and carbide balls for durable, consistent performance.
